Tottyn Falls - Valencia, Negros Oriental

This blog post is one of the quick trips or adventures we have taken with no particular purpose of sharing this with the public. However, many have asked and are curious about how to get here in Tottyn Falls in Valencia, Negros Oriental. This waterfall is also referred to as "Tuting Falls' (a surname). This abrupt adventure happened on a bad weather condition and so, the locals have said that the falls and the river might not be at its best appearance, but still, we chose to proceed on reaching the spot.

How to get there?

If your starting point is in Valencia town center (market place), then it's very easy to acquire public transportation. You can ride "habal-habal" or even "pedicab" to go there. Just instruct the tourist drivers to go to Tottyn Falls. If you're riding on your own vehicle, you may follow the main road until you reach a signboard that says "Tottyn Falls". From the market place, go to Apolong, Valencia, where you'll be passing by the cockpit in Valencia located beside the curve road. Continue to travel until you pass Tejeros Island Resort and until to Forest Camp. Now, just follow the main road until you see signage. You can park near the signage as it is the starting point of your little trek. And so, it is a must to bring water for your hydration. There is no entrance fee but the maintenance workers only ask for donations. From there where you will sign into a logbook, you just need to follow the pathway and surely you'll get to the falls. There are few locals in there that could guide you into going to the spot.

Check out Forest Camp! You'll be able to pass here before reaching Tottyn Falls.
