Palaypay Falls

The Palaypay Falls

The Palaypay Falls has a series of picturesque waterfalls that pour down in three beautiful cascades. The crystalline bluish water attractively fills the reddish water basins of the river.

Surely this pretty tourist spot will make you happy, especially in a very hot summer. Another plus for this spot is that there is no entrance fee. However, due to our current world crisis, the tourism activities in Negros Oriental may have been negatively affected. You might also notice that the edifices around the area are deteriorating when it comes to quality, however, I'd still want to enjoy the falls without being bugged by those structures.

How to get there?

One great and typical solution in order to have an easy trip is to find a tour package. You may also rent a van ahead of time or earlier before your trip so you can have proper arrangements with the drivers.

If you reach Pamplona, you'll have to keep in mind that you'll be heading to "Datagon" Road and not the other way round. Motorcycles and other utility vehicles will be fine for this trip and it will take you to travel for kilometers. There were no signages around the area which may lead to the waterfalls and there were no houses around the area as well. The road is connected by rough roads and some elevated path. Normally, from the town center to this tourist spot, you'll be traveling for no more than an hour. You'll have to walk for about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the actual spot.
